Upholstery madness

My upholstery class starts on Monday

In two days

So today, I finally began to tear down the chair that I got.

Quite a few hours,
a big mess

and

3 blisters later...

I think it might be too broken to be of use.

Here is what I found underneath the fabric:

And the other side looks the same.

I'm pretty sad about it.

I'm still going to ask my expert friend Bro Danjou if there is hope

But I know one thing for sure.

It won't be ready by Monday!

At the ripe old age of 46 

(yes, I'm still 46 until tomorrow)

I am AGAIN learning the lesson that procrastination is a bad idea.
