Remember the wonderful couch idea I had? And then it was always always always covered in bugs?
Well, my genius husband decided to try to find a solution!
He had a screen made that fit exactly over the skylight, installed it and...
NO MORE BUGS!
They can't fly up into the skylight anymore and get cooked by the heat or trapped because they are too dumb to fly down and out. Now they do sometimes hover around the screen for awhile but they don't get too hot and die. They just eventually meander their way back out into the yard or wherever it is they came from.
And I can now go out and sit on my couch whenever I want without having to pull out the vacuum first.
Bliss.
